PAMPOROVO FREESTYLE OPEN

At 19, 20 and 21 february at Pamporovo resort, will be organazing the long-expected "Pamporovo Freestyle Open". The event will including Half Pipe Session for ski and snowboard, as and Night Air Special Edition. The prize found is 2400 leva in cash and many more gifts, granted by our sponsors.

PAMPOROVO PIPE SESSION
Saturday in Pamorovo was organized the long-expected “Pamporovo Pipe Session”. This is the first half pipe in Bulgaria from 7 years and we stay with the hope , that it will remain by the end of the season and will be rebuild at the beginning of the next one.

Here are the final positions:

Itse Ahtapodov – first place by men’s
Fani Kehaiova – first place by women’s
The best trick – The big Green one (fs 720)
Biggest Air – Bogdan Kabasanov (Bobo)
The most perspective competitor – Little Gorko
The most aggressive competitor – Emi Kabadozova
Competitor feel  most pain - Asenkata


In spite of, that nobody was race on a device like this from many years, there was some very good tricks. Itse Ahtapodov won with a run, in combination of grabs on his first jumps, continue with back to back 5-th and finished with almost good handplant, which was enough to take the price... By the women’s Fani was jumping higher than most men’s and take the price too.
Asenkata (from Smolyan town) was the only one, who land MacTwist, besides that he was racing with a broken hand, with that deservedly he take his price.

ПРОЕКТ BG2004/016-782.01.03.03-04: НЕВЯСТАТА
On 28.11.2007 at 10.30 the project Neviastata (the Bride) was officially opened. This project is accomplished by club Snowboard Society - Smolyan with the financial support of an EU program Phare-TGS between Bulgaria and Greece.
The main objects of this project are to adjust the rock Neviastata to a new green tourist destination, to develop a new complex and integrated product of sustainable tourism and to stimulate a wider use of the resources connected with tourism in the region and the extension of the geographic scope.

A marked and certified eco-road was set up due to the project. The eco-road begins from the arch of chapel St. Pantaleymon and continues in the direction of the rock Neviastata (750 m. high) and consist of three panoramic grounds , a ground for kids, a camping place, four routes for rock climbing with different levels of difficulty, via ferrata (an iron road) with two routes, alpine trolley and artificial climbing wall.
Partners in this project are the Regional Administration Smolyan and the Greece organization PRAXISCulture.
